Become the Complete Center Back.

01.

The Problem

Many center backs receive little position-specific coaching. Team training often emphasizes attacking, leaving defenders without the individual instruction needed to master positioning, reading the game, winning 1v1 battles, and competing in the air.Yet today's center back must do more than defend. They must be comfortable in possession, build attacks, break lines with their passing, and make intelligent decisions under pressure. The result? Players are expected to perform the complete role without always receiving the specialized training to develop it.
